Ladies of hive contest #129 [ENG/ESP] My Family Easter Weekend

Hello Thank you Ladies of hive community contest #129 for giving me the opportunity to share with the Ladies community. My Easter vacation, I was convinced that this years was not my lucky day 🍀 because we made market to shelter at home until the season is over and the work routine returns because my husband is the one who works every day and my person I do whatever it takes so we can share even if it’s watching movies at home 🏠 or walking around my residence to do something different.
There were already 2 days left for the season to be over. my husband told me “on Saturday the comadre and her daughter will come” . I didn’t know if that was really going to happen, that is, if my husband’s family was really coming to spend the vacations with us at home.
My side of me was thinking too much that my only concern was that they might cancel the visit at the last minute or that they are plans but I don’t know how to finalize them. My close friends and family used to make plans to have get-togethers at my mother’s house to share as we used to do, but since I moved it has been difficult for others to come because of the distance we have and others for personal reasons that nothing could be done. They would reschedule until we left it at that.
So if you have an important date you know you have to clean the house, do some shopping in case of preparing some recipes made by me. Even decorate the living room and bedroom in case they want to settle in. Because I love visiting and sharing with others is like social therapy, when we hug, cry and with contagious laughter. It is wonderful to share with the person we love. No matter how much or little they can do, the important thing is that they are in my life.
Well this day came and so far as I lay in bed looking at the walls and ceiling that at last this great day came. I went to check my phone 📱 and for a moment I closed my eyes and then slowly opened it and the text message 📩 said “ families are getting ready, more will be coming, there will be kids too” “ You have 2 hours to set up the pool.” -I jumped out of bed and my son didn’t understand the situation but together we made a team to set up the plastic pool 💧2 meters wide.
When I was halfway through, filling the water with the hose and nozzle. It turned out that the water was gone; I was on the verge of a crisis. And I wondered what could have happened that. I decided to talk to my next door neighbor and she said, “Alicia, remember that on Fridays and Saturdays the water always runs out. The truth is, I wasn’t worried about the water issue because I always save and spend what is necessary, I have a tank that can hold a week’s worth of water. Then the families arrived, and I was a little disappointed that I wanted to do more. And the family seeing the pool said to me:
“The amount of water is perfect for the little girl, because she is very small.” I sighed and felt a sense of relief. We shared, I learned how to prepare bollito aliñado, we talked a lot. The next morning I knew they had to leave, they had to visit the other family list. They gave me more surprises when they decided to stay one more day because the children were doing well and we could not corrupt this bond. My Semana Santa was the best thing that could have happened to me, even if it is the little we have, we do a lot of things that can be enjoyed as a family. Hola Gracias Ladies of hive community contest #129 por darme la oportunidad de compartir con la comunidad Ladies. Mi vacaciones en semana santa,estaba convencida de que este años no era mi día de suerte 🍀 porque hicimos mercado para resguardar en casa hasta que se termine la temporada y regrese la rutina laboral porque mi esposo es quien trabaja todos los días y mi persona hago lo que sea necesario para que podamos compartir así sea viendo películas en casa 🏠 o caminar alrededor de mi residencia para hacer algo diferente.
Ya faltaban 2 días para que se terminará la temporada. mi esposo me dijo: “el sábado vendrá la comadre y su hija” . No sabía si de verdad eso iba a ocurrir, es decir que si en verdad vendrá la familias de mi esposo a pasar la vacaciones con nosotros en casa.
Mi lado del yo, estaba pensando demasiado que mi única preocupación era que si cancelaban la visita a última hora o que son planes pero no sé termina de concretar. Mi amistades y familiares cercanos hacíamos planes en hacer reuniones en casa de mi madre para compartir como solíamos hacer, pero desde que me mudé ha sido difícil que los demás puedan venir por la distancia que tenemos y otros por razones personales que no se podía hacer nada. Se cambiaban de fecha hasta que lo dejábamos así.
Entonces si tienes una fecha comprometedor sabes que hay que limpiar la casa, hacer mercado en caso de preparar algunas recetas hecha por mi. Incluso decorar la sala y la habitación en caso que quieran acomodarse. Porque me encanta la visita y compartir con los demás es como terapia social, cuando abrazamos, lloramos y con la risa contagiosa. Es maravilloso compartir con la persona que queremos. No importa lo mucho o poco que puedan hacer, lo importante es que están en mi vida.
Bueno llegó este día y hasta ahora mientras estaba en cama mirando las paredes y techo que al fin llegó este gran día. Fui a revisar mi teléfono 📱 y por un momento cerré los ojos y luego la abrí lentamente y el mensaje de texto 📩 decía “ la familias se están alistando, vendrán más, habrá niños también” “ Tienes 2 horas para armar la piscina”. -Brinqué saltando de la cama y mi hijo no comprendía la situación pero juntos hicimos un equipo para armar la piscina plástico 💧2 metros de ancho.
Cuando iba por la mitad, llenando el agua con la manguera y tobo. Resultó ser que se había ido el agua; Estaba al borde de la crisis. Y me preguntaba que pudo haber pasado eso. Decidí Hablar con mi vecina de al lado y ella me dijo “ Alicia, acuérdate que los viernes y sábado se van el agua siempre”. La verdad, no me preocupaba por el tema del agua porque siempre ahorro y gasto lo necesario, tengo un tanque que soporta para una semana. Entonces llegaron la familias, y estaba algo decepcionada de que quería hacer más. Y la familia al ver la piscina me dijeron:
“La cantidad de agua es perfecta para la niña, porque ella es muy pequeña.” Suspiré y sentí un alivió. Compartimos, aprendí a preparar bollito aliñado, hablamos bastante. Al día siguiente por la mañana sabía que ellas se tenían que ir, deben visitar a la otra lista de la familia. Me dieron más sorpresas cuándo decidieron quedarse un día más porque los niños estaban pasando bien y no podíamos corromper este lazo. Mi semana santa fue , lo mejor que me pudo pasar, aunque sea lo poquito que tenemos, hacemos mucha cosa que se pueden disfrutar en familias. Hi Erikah, I am sorry for the late reply, I fell asleep after sharing. Yes I had a lot of feeling found and for natural reasons, I was given the opportunity to enjoy with the families, last year we were only at home. and I also appreciate my husband and son. They are part of my life. But a family reunion was refreshing and a relief to share hehehe. Thank you for writing me I enjoyed your presence.
