LA HISTORIA

La casa parecía estar sumida en la oscuridad cuando el hombre entró silenciosamente por la puerta entreabierta. Sabía que debía actuar con rapidez, así que se dirigió directamente al armario donde estaba la caja fuerte. La abrió sin problemas, sabiendo la combinación, y estaba a punto de sacar algo de su interior, cuando un movimiento lo distrajo.

Una chica estaba de pie detrás de él, con los ojos abiertos como platos. Él se giró rápidamente, pero no pudo evitar que ella viera lo que estaba a punto de meter en su bolsillo.

-¿Quién eres tú? -preguntó ella con rapidez.

El hombre la miró con desprecio, pero sabía que había metido la pata. Sacó un cuchillo de su bolsillo y se acercó a ella, obligándola a retroceder.

-Nadie que te importe -dijo con una sonrisa siniestra-. Si dices algo o intentas detenerme, no sobrevivirás.

Ella retrocedió aún más, hasta chocar con la pared detrás de ella. El hombre se acercó todavía más, el cuchillo brillando en la oscuridad.

De repente,se escuchó un auto acercarse a la casa en medio del silencio de la noche... y ambos se distrajeron con el sonido.

-El hombre no supo en qué instante, ni cómo, ni con qué, fue lanzado por una fuerza inmensa al suelo, perdiendo el conocimiento de manera inmediata.

Despierta e intenta balbucear algo, recibiendo inmediatamente una bofetada como respuesta:

-¡Cállate! -le gritaron-. y dinos dónde escondiste el chip, lo necesitamos.

Estaba atado a una silla, manos y pies sujetados firmemente. Alrededor, se veia una especie de laboratorio...Las personas usaban batas blancas y máscaras sobre sus rostros.

Trataba de identificar a la chica que lo dejó inconsciente, pero no estaba alli... nadie de su complexión estaba en la sala.

Luego escucha que la caja fuerte tenía una trampa, al abrirla, inmediatamente se activaba una alarma silenciosa que enviaba la señal a sus captores. El y la chica habían caído en la trampa. Pero y la chica??? quién era? de dónde salió? cómo podía tener tal fuerza para derribarlo y dejarlo inconsciente? cómo pudo actuar con tanta rapidez?

El hombre no entendía lo que sucedía, solo había sido contratado para robar el chip de la caja fuerte. En medio de golpes y choques eléctricos explica su presencia y cuenta sobre la chica.

Los hombres de bata acuden a los videos una vez más y solo ven al ladrón robando la caja fuerte y luego siendo lanzado al suelo. Ninguna chica aparecía, y tampoco el chip en el bolsillo del hombre...

Y entonces comprendieron que el Proyecto había dado resultado, había sido todo un éxito, pero todos los datos estaban en el chip y no había copias... ni forma de encontrar "al proyecto".

La chica, que realmente era El Proyecto, estaba ahora fuera de su control, y ella junto con el chip son la clave para descubrir todo el proceso. Sus vidas y la de todos dentro de la casa corren peligro...

De repente suenan las alarmas y se cierran herméticamente las puertas del laboratorio...Todo fue una trampa para distraerlos dentro del mismo y ahora eran ellos los protagonistas... las luces se apagan, todo vuelve a estar en penumbra...el silencio reina...no hay manera de abrir las puertas, nada funciona. Gritan, golpean, intentan todas las formas de salir... todo es infructuoso.

Un sudor helado empieza a apoderarse de ellos, vuelve a reinar el silencio. solo pueden ver una sombra tras los vidrios moviéndose de manera rápida y misteriosa.

Han pasado los años, y en el vecindario, muy al fondo, en una calle ciega está una casa abandonada, sin muebles, llena de telarañas y alimañas. Nadie la vende, nadie conoce a sus dueños. Los lugareños dicen que, eventualmente ven una sombra moviéndose alrededor, pero nadie se atreve a acercarse. Muchas leyendas rondan sobre ella, pero nadie se atreve a comprobarlas.

SYNOPSIS.
A man suspiciously enters a house and is surprised by the presence of a girl. The man knows he must do something about the girl or his life will be in danger. The girl is surprised by the man's presence and knows she must override him or her life will be compromised. Both are looking for the same thing and both know they are in danger, but neither can run away anymore because they fell into the trap. At any moment the owners of the house will arrive and if they do not justify their presence, they will be killed.

THE STORY

The house seemed to be plunged into darkness as the man quietly entered through the half-open door. He knew he had to act quickly, so he headed straight for the closet where the safe was. He opened it smoothly, knowing the combination, and was about to remove something from inside, when a movement distracted him.

A girl was standing behind him, her eyes wide as saucers. He turned quickly, but couldn't stop her from seeing what he was about to put in his pocket.

-Who are you? -she asked quickly.

The man glared at her, but he knew he had screwed up. He pulled a knife from his pocket and approached her, forcing her to back away.

-No one you care about," he said with a sinister smile. If you say anything or try to stop me, you won't survive.

She backed up even further, until she hit the wall behind her. The man stepped even closer, the knife gleaming in the darkness.

Suddenly, a car was heard approaching the house in the silence of the night... and they were both distracted by the sound.

-The man did not know at what instant, or how, or with what, he was thrown by an immense force to the ground, losing consciousness immediately.

He wakes up and tries to babble something, immediately receiving a slap in the face as an answer:

-Shut up! -and tell us where you hid the chip, we need it.

He was tied to a chair, hands and feet held firmly. All around, there was a kind of laboratory... The people were wearing white coats and masks over their faces.

He was trying to identify the girl who knocked him unconscious, but she was not there.... no one of his complexion was in the room.

Then he hears that the safe was booby-trapped, opening it immediately triggered a silent alarm that sent the signal to his captors. He and the girl had fallen into the trap. But what about the girl? who was she? where did she come from? how could she have such strength to knock him down and leave him unconscious? how could she act so quickly?

The man did not understand what was happening, he had only been hired to steal the chip from the safe. In the midst of blows and electric shocks he explains his presence and tells about the girl.

The men in robes turn to the videos once again and only see the thief stealing the safe and then being thrown to the ground. No girl appeared, and neither did the chip in the man's pocket....

And then they understood that the Project had worked, it had been a success, but all the data was in the chip and there were no copies... and no way to find "the project".

The girl, who really was The Project, was now out of their control, and she along with the chip are the key to discovering the whole process. Their lives and the lives of everyone inside the house are in danger....

Suddenly the alarms sound and the doors of the laboratory close hermetically...It was all a trap to distract them inside the laboratory and now they were the protagonists...the lights go out, everything is in darkness again...silence reigns...there is no way to open the doors, nothing works. They scream, knock, try every way to get out... everything is unsuccessful.

An icy sweat begins to take hold of them, silence reigns again. They can only see a shadow behind the glass moving quickly and mysteriously.

Years have passed, and in the neighborhood, far in the background, on a blind street, there is an abandoned house, without furniture, full of cobwebs and vermin. Nobody sells it, nobody knows its owners. The locals say that, eventually, they see a shadow moving around, but no one dares to approach it. Many legends haunt it, but no one dares to verify them.
