The Battle Ruleset

Lost Legendaries:Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles.


This is a middle mana ruleset game and almost every color is available to play, except the Life Splinters, so it was quite easy to choose my favorite Splinter for the battle and if I am lucky I will be able to take advantage of their armors.

The Lost Legendaries ruleset will ban all the Legendary monsters from the upcoming battle, so it is advised to use a different strategy than usual. Luckily the Water Splinter has a lot of options to choose from without any legendaries.

My Team Composition

Kelya Frendul is a very good summoner for this ruleset, because he gives one speed and armor to all of his monsters, which is amazing to boost their speed up to attack first and to block one melee or ranged attack per monster.

The Diemonshark will be my tank in this game, because he has a lot of speed on its own with quite a lot health and armor, so if he is lucky and will be able to kill his target he will get another attack thanks to his Trample ability.

The Angelic Mandarin is quite a good ranged attack damage dealer for its mana cost, but on top of that he has the Triage ability as well, so he will be able to heal his backline if they take any damage against Snipe or Sneak attacks.

The Venari Wavesmith is another great card from the Water Splinter, because he cost only 5 mana and he has two magic attack damage, which is always welcomed, but he also has the Protect ability as well, which means that he will give two armor to all of their monsters on top of their existing one.

I used lot of mana already for my monsters, so I had to choose low mana cost card. The Ice Pixie cost only two mana so it was easy to include her.

I used the Kulu Swimhunter as another damage dealer and because he doesn't have any ability his damage stat is a bit increased, so he will have 3 attack damage.

I used the Axemaster at the back of my backline, because he is will be able to deal quite a lot of damage, because he has the highest damage output out of my monsters thanks to his Double Strike ability, which means that he will attack twice in every round for three attack damage.

The enemy team picked a full magic attak team against mine, so they will ignore all the armors I have on my monsters. The only thing is good using my Kelya is the fact that he gives plus one speed to all of my friendly monsters.

Thanks for the speed buff and usually the Water monsters are quite fast my team attacked first and they already killed their Slipspawn in the second position, because she had the Taunt ability.

Luckily my Diemonshark survived the first round by having only one health, so in the beginning of the second round he attacked a huge one on their tank and my Axemaster finished him off and on top of that he used his Double Strike to get rid of their Mushroom as well.

Their Goblin Psychic couldn't even attack at all, because he died before his turn.

The speed difference was a key factor in this battle and easily won the battle for me.

Do you like Lost Legendaries? Why or why not?

I like, but I still I like to play with Legendary monsters, because they are quite powerful and allows me to use much different strategies than I can do without them.
