Weekly Battle Challenge Featuring RADIATED BRUTE

Hello Splinterlands Community!
Hope everyone is doing well.
We will today talk about this week's card for the - SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge, RADIATED BRUTE

ABOUT THE CARD :
So, before we move onto some battle and strategy with the card, let's take a look at the card.

Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: COMMON
Element: FIRE
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: REACH

Now, let's check out the stats of the card.

Radiated Brute comes with Reach ability at the very first level. It gets deadlier with Enrage at level 6 and above. For 5 mana, we are getting a melee attacker with 2 attack and 5 HP which scales up to 4 attack and 6 hp and most importantly it's speed goes up to 4 which is a deal breaker at the lower levels.
I currently have the card at level 1 and to be honestly limited funds did not allow me to level up my Fire deck. I however, was doing a Fire quest in my alt account, which gave me the opportunity to rent a level 3 Radiated Brute and write a post about my experience.

THE HIGHLIGHTS :

• Round 1:

In the first round, there were no causalities as tanks from both teams did an amazing job.

• Round 2:

Even in round two we have had no cards eliminated from either side.
However, we can see that the opponent's Shieldbearer is taking serious damage as it's hp is down to 3 after the end of the round.

• Round 3:

In round three, our Radiated Scorcher takes out the Shieldbearer and we are now one step closer to victory as our cards will now be able to utilize the sneak and take out lower hp cards from the back line.

• Round 4:

Our Living Lava takes out the Scavo Hireling soon and Antoid Platoon takes out Creeping Ooze from the back line followed by some action from Radiated Brute who joins the party by taking out Celestial Harpy. Victory is a matter of time now as the opponent team is left with Venari Crystalsmith who will also not be able to attack from first position.

• Round 5:

At the start of the round, Venari Crystalsmith tries to save herself by with the Tank Heal ability but right after our Radiated Brute inflicts 3 damage followed by a killing blow from Antoid Platoon and the battle was over.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?
I would say it definitely worked out well and our theme card Radiated Brute played a pivotal role in the victory. Having cards with shield ability at the start and end of the lineup mitigated the damage taken and none of our cards took any notable damage in the battle.

Do I like the RADIATED BRUTE? Why or why not?
To be honest, I do not play Fire splinter much and Radiated Brute is not my favorite card from Fire splinter either. But for 5 mana it does offer great utility with the Reach ability and the card gets better at the higher levels specially gold and above.
In future I do plan to upgrade the card and use it more often.
