I will like to talk about a tourist centre in Nasarawa state that have not been given much attention by tourists all over the world. I also want to use this opportunity to draw the attention of people to visit the tourist centre to see what it has to offer.

Farin ruwa falls is a Waterfall found in the central region of Nigeria, it is among the highest waterfalls in Nigeria. It is significant among Africa's falls where the total height covered by the waterfall is considered.

The source of Farin Ruwa is found on the Nasarawa State, from whence it gushes down over the edge of the Nasarawa. During it's descent from the Jos Plateau, the height of the drop water is about 150 meters. (492 ft.) which is higher when comparing it with the popular Victoria Falls, which drops a height of about 108 meters (354 ft) during its descent.

The water is located in Farin Ruwa Development area, Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Nigeria.
The falls is found along the boundary of Plateau State and Nasarawa state and under the bokkos and Wamba local of the two state.

Farin ruwa waterfalls was discovered by the British colony in 1950, despite this early development, the falls was not given attention until the creation of Nasarawa state in 1996. The fall is about 120 kilometres from Lafia, Nasarawa state capital and 30 kilometres from Wamba town.

CLIMATE
the mountain nature of the region surrounding farin ruwa causes heavy rain fall from cloud passing over the region during rainy season between Match and November. There is increase in the volume of the falls crashing down from the mountain during rainy season.
The volume of water drops during the dry season from December to March.

Tourist facilities
People go to the waterfalls from time to time to see how the water falls. But the tourist industry has not actually done much to showcase the Farin ruwa waterfalls to the world.
The last time I visited the waterfall was about fifteen years ago, when the story of the falls got to us, and also because I live in Nasarawa state, I decided that I must go and see things for myself. When the car stopped us, we had to walk for about 2 hours before we could get to see the waterfalls. It was indeed an awesome experience for me.

Hello @adaezeinchrist, none of the links you gave while sourcing your images are working.
You have to correct that.
Also, when giving the links, make sure they will lead directly to the image in question, not just the homepage of the site you took them from.
Thank you for such a wonderful post.

Thanks so much. I have corrected it.
