avatar

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Five Alive" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, Only five monsters can be used in battle I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

Summoner:

I chose the "POSSIBILUS THE WISE summoner". It was a 47-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Possibilus the Wise summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in health by two, trample ability and the reach ability. I included the Relenor Cleaver monster so that it will increase in stats after eliminating a monster. My team lineup comprised Demonshark, Relenor Cleaver, Djinn Oshannus, Merdaali Guardian, and Nerissa Tridawn.

1st Position:

Demonshark, this card has the magic trample ability. It is an 8-mana monster with a speed of 4, 2 melee attack damage, and 7 health with 6 armor protection.

What Transpired in the Battle:

First of all monsters took their effect from the summoner by reducing my opponent's monster's speed. My opponent's lineup comprised five monsters including the Dumacke Orc, Coastal Sentry, Riverboat Captain, Swamp Spitter, and Gobson Bomber.

In the first round, Djinn Oshannus with the highest speed attacked and eliminated the first-positioned monster on my opponent's lineup. It was then followed by an attack from Demonshark after which the Coastal Sentry monster inflicted me with a double melee attack damage. Swamp Spitter missed the attack on my monster and at the end of the round, only one monster was eliminated.

Round 2:

In this round, as usual, Djinn Oshannus with the first move of attack followed by the Demon Shark monster which was able to eliminate the Coastal Sentry monster and the trample ability triggered it to attack the next monster in the lineup.

The Swamp Spitter was able to eliminate my Demonshark with the range attack damage. At the end of the round, I had only one monster eliminated while my opponent was left with just two monsters.

Round 3:

In this round, after attacks from both my side and my opponent, no monster was eliminated.

()

Round 4:
We would call this a final round because my opponent's monsters can't survive it again. The first attack from the Djinn Oshannus monster was able to eliminate the Swamp Spitter monster after which the last monster was eliminated by the Relenor Cleaver monster.

Goblin Psychin attacked and eliminated a monster after which the Wood Nymph monster did the last job and that was the end of the battle.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with the Possibilus the Wise summoner. In four rounds, I was able to emerge victorious at the end of the battle.

Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
