The Fab Four Ruleset - Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "[FAB FOUR]" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, Up to four Units can be used. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

FAB FOUR

Ruleset Icon	Description
Explosive Weaponry	All Monsters have the Blast ability. The best strategy is to have fast monsters with Snipe, Sneak, and Opportunity. For defense, Shield and Void will come in handy.
	Up to four Units can be used.
	Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. Try to pick monsters with 1 speed because they have the best chance of evading Melee and Ranged attacks. Beware of monsters with Enrage and Last Stand, these abilities increase speed when activated.

Summoner:

I chose the "OBSIDIAN summoner". It was a 50-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the OBSIDIAN summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in magic attack damage. I included the Quora Towershead monster so that it will increase in stats after eliminating a monster. My team lineup comprised the following; Fungus Flinger, Quoro Towershead, Venari Marksrat, and Goblin Psychic.

1st Position:

Fungus Flinger, this card has the martyr ability and when eliminated, it increases all stats of adjacent monsters. It is a 3-mana monster with a speed of 1, 1 range attack damage, and 4 health with 0 armor protection.

What Transpired in the Battle:

First of all monsters took their effect from the summoner by an extra magic attack damage to all my monsters. My opponent's lineup comprised four monsters including the Endless Ape, Mycelic Slipspawn, Goblin Psychic, and Regal Peryton.

In the first round, my opponent's monsters all attacked my first position monster and eliminated it. After which the Goblin Psychic monster in my lineup attacked and with the explosive weaponry ability, the Goblin Psychic monster in my opponent's lineup was eliminated. The last monster to attack in this round was that of Quora Towershead which had an increase in all stats after my Fungus Flinger monster was eliminated.

Round 2:

In this round, my opponent did not even make one attack on my monsters. With the explosive weaponry ability, I eliminated all his monsters without a single attack from him in this round.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with magic cards was a great idea. In two rounds, I was able to emerge victorious at the end of the battle.
