My Naija people!! How una dey!

I was speaking to my younger brother this evening trying to caution him against misusing his precious time as a teenager. There are a lot of steps to take in life, but one big mistake is taking the wrong steps from the beginning then it’s kind of over. Getting right again might only take the grace of God in one's life.

He has been using all his time to watch movies on his phone to the extent that he hangs around everywhere to get his phone in charge and use it. Today's situation got worse. He never did anything tangible with his time other than movies. I wanted to keep mute but I had to break the silence and make it clear to him that he has to know what to do with his life.

Those he is watching their movies are making their dreams come to reality. But you are here smiling at them making money and praising a great actor. If they had used all their teenage years watching movies and not focused on their careers how would you be able to watch them today?

I knew I said something in his thoughts. Hopefully, he gets to ponder on them and change for the better.

I told him I also have my dreams and that’s something that kept me focused and going. He should also have one. What are his goals? What are his targets and ambitions? What dreams doesn't he want to see come to reality and start working towards them?

I have my dreams and inspiration too. And I am grateful I accomplished some of them and anticipate getting many more done.

Go to Hajj with my parents.

This has been a long-time dream of mine. I have always prayed God would bless me so much that I would have the capacity to sponsor my parents to Hajj.

What's Hajj?

As Muslims, it's one of every Muslim dreams to visit the holy house. And this is called pilgrimage. My parents are yet to pay a visit. But I have it at the end of my heart to be there with them and see how happy they would be visiting the holy house.

I am hopeful someday when I get this mission accomplished then I can get back to this content and reference this or give a blue mark that finally! God made me accomplish one of my biggest dreams in life.

Become a business tycoon.

I don't know how or why I found myself to like business more than any other form of job. I am not a professional yet. But having the skills and the energy needed to run one. So I can say exactly how that will come to pass.

I am still nowhere to be found in my dreamland. But I believe it's just a matter of time. I have dreamed big and right now I just want to see it happen so big!

Good life.

I have always been scared of poverty. But I am doing all I can to make sure I escape the battle. Living good is not something you can force on yourself. But when you experience a good life then you feel life differently. I am grateful for my present way of life. But I am also hopeful to live that good life I have dreamed about. And by His grace, everything would turn out fine.
