I was really intrigued by the way you told it. The idea that the main character is an otaku who just wanted to get into the anime club and suddenly discovers he's a cycling genius without knowing it... sounds super fun!
I've never seen a cycling anime before, and from what you explain about the strategies and the different types of riders, it seems much more interesting than I imagined. You've made me want to check it out, I'll keep it in mind! Thanks for the recommendation.

You should give it a try. Watching sports anime is really fun. I was amazed also how Sakamichi Onoda used his cadence perfectly. It's really exciting.
There's another cycling anime that I've too and plan to rewatch it one day. It's "Overdrive" 😊
