I really enjoyed how you turned a “regular” day, with delays and small interruptions, into a story full of interesting moments. That morning walk sounds lovely, and the hotel seems to have a special charm, especially with its connection to the university.

The bookstore visit was also a highlight 📚. Those places always feel magical, even if you don’t end up finding anything. And that book arch… such a creative idea! I can totally picture myself standing there for a while trying to figure out how it works too.

You also made me smile with the whole food part 😄. From the fried pickles to comparing the wings with your own (that says a lot, by the way). And the ending with milkshakes, college life, and your “protective uncle/aunt mode” was just perfect.
