I think it will be rare to see if someone make the decision to get remarry at the age of 71. The first reason is I think in that time one person doesn't have such a mentality and the second reason is the person must have a family even if after the death of partner. They would love to spend the time with family member rather than remarry.

Exactly my thought ...as long as family is involved , many things will definitely occupy my mind instead of falling in love at that age
