Congratulations on setting up your badass HIVE API node!
I remember we were talking about exactly this topic in HiveFest, Split! I was curious how Liotes could run a HIVE API, but I didn't know that you are working on yours too! I also remember that Primersion was one of the people who was around, behind the stage, motivating us to do it... Well, it looks like motivation worked for you!
Happy to hear that it's up and running, and hopefully for a long time with 99.999% uptime! 😃 New Zealand is ready for the HIVE mass adoption! 🙂

I have never given up, just IRL stuff all the way, and some (LOTS !LOL) of distractions.
When I retire and if I still have the same brains, I am going to be sooooo much "blowing" up kind of guy. Maybe not, age is teaching me some stuff LOL
Anyhow, the internal motivation is the same, and yes, meeting you and all the folks helped hugely with motivation.
Always had this dream of showing that it does not matter where you are, you can just do it! (I confess that it's not just knowledge, but also some resources and knowing how to work with them). But ultimately its all about persistence and dedicating time to learn things.
There are LOTS OF them :D all open source on the hive repos... but reading them and understanding them is what takes time.
I am happy to engage with anyone who wants to start the journey. After all, this is my point on doing all this. Bringing more people to the dark side! !PIMP :P

What does this mean? Was it difficult to access Hive in New Zealand? Was there insufficient internet access?
It was more of a joke, as you can notive my the emoji at the end...
On the other side, Forykw has set up an HIVE API node in NZ, which means better HIVE "experience" for users from there, as they will be able to pull data from a "neighbor" HIVE node!
