Well, I think anime like this is what you need to watch now that you don't have much free time to watch other anime you have on your list due to lack of time.

In this case I confirm that the plot of Kaiju No. 8 is quite fast-paced, but I think it's because of the number of things that happen at the same time in one season and another. I don't know if they've done a "speed runner" of the original work, who knows, but so far they haven't done badly, I hope they continue like this for the third and next season.
