Water is vital, our bodies are made up of 70% of it. I am sorry that you have had to overcome that difficulty, as an inhabitant of a country where not having water is a common occurrence, I can tell you that I understand perfectly well what you are going through. In principle, the first days are horrible, but believe me, it is even worse to have lived for 30 years without stable drinking water service, as it is in my case.
We have to store water in barrels, and bathe with small plastic pots.
In my case, the water reaches us twice a week, and we have to stop what we are doing at that time or be in our homes to be able to collect the water. This means that if you are on the street or shopping you are going to have to return home and pray that you have time to store the water so you can hold out until they put it back in.
Water is very important, I don't know what it's like to be able to bathe in a shower for 30 years, I live with that trauma, I am part of a segregated population especially for that.
Also washing our clothes is quite a challenge, I suffer a lot because of that.
I hope they solve this unpleasant solution soon, it is very important to be able to live in peace and with water.
