LPUD July 15, 2024 & Loyalty Bonus

On July 15, 2024, we increased our LEO power by another 150 LEO, raising the total of our active LEO power to 2,850. It's not much, but we still hold the position among the 300 largest LEO stakers, currently 265th on the list.

It also supports our curation efforts for posts tagged with tags that trigger authors' rewards to be paid in LEO tokens. In other words, our 100% vote, at the moment, would bring only about 0.085 LEO besides the worth of our upvote in HIVE coins. But if we continue as planned, although in small steps, with constant and steady growth, these numbers will slowly increase to more significant ones.

Members' Farewell & Loyalty Bonus

At the beginning of this month (July 2024), two members decided to leave us by selling their VOCUP tokens. They both left with a profit, although one finished its journey with us way better than the other, but it was a matter of their different decisions and picking different paths.

A third member also recently put its VOCUP tokens on sale (not for the first time), aiming to gain a considerable profit in an amount that seems extremely unrealistic to us (at least for now).

The tables below best describe a brief overview of the two members' journey with us.

The first one joined us on November 18, 2022. In 19 or 20 months with us, this member bought 17.5 VOCUP tokens in 20 purchases.
Five tokens were bought for 25 HIVE (at the price of 5 HIVE per token), while the remaining 12.5 tokens were bought for 125 HIVE (at 10 HIVE per token), that makes this member's total investment of 150 HIVE.

All 17.5 tokens were put on the market and sold for 175 HIVE (at 10 HIVE per token), giving this member a profit of 25 HIVE. In shared rewards collected during its token holding period, this member also received 31.108 HIVE, which makes its total profit of 56.108 HIVE. That's about 37.40% profit on its total investment or about 22.44% yearly.

In addition, this member received 33.5 POB, 5 ALIVE, and 5,600 SPORTS tokens as bonuses, which were not calculated in the above profit.

The second member joined us on February 19, 2023. In 16 or 17 months with us, this member bought 10 VOCUP tokens in 4 purchases for a total of 100 HIVE, as all the tokens were bought at the price of 10 HIVE per token.

Unfortunately, this member decided to put all its tokens on the market for 9 HIVE, which is 1 HIVE per token less than its purchasing price and current VOCUP token sale price. Some other members apparently noticed it, and the tokens were soon sold in three different transactions for a total of 90 HIVE, which would be a loss of 10 HIVE.

Still, as during its token holding period, this member received 16.682 HIVE in shared rewards, which covered the loss, so the member still ended with a profit, but of only 6.682 HIVE.

Besides that, this member also received 20 POB tokens as a Christmas/New Year bonus, which was not calculated in the above profit.

Loyalty Bonus

Therefore, we have prepared a small special loyalty bonus for all of you who have decided to stay with us. As most of you play the dCrops game, we decided the bonus this time will be in CROP tokens, so 800 CROP tokens were shared among all of you still holding VOCUP tokens.

The snapshot of current token holders was taken yesterday, July 21, 2024, at midnight (UTC), and the table below shows the rewards sent to all the VOCUP token holders according to their respective token holdings.

The above rewards were sent today (July 22, 2024), a couple of minutes before publishing this post, and here is also the screenshot from our Hive-Engine wallet.
