As you can see that 45% of the total area is covered with the green lands where 22% is wild forest and other half is the artificially created forest and so you can find so many parks and forest land everywhere in the whole city. When I visit in the northern section of the city I found thousands of acres of fruits garden and a good portion is also with agricultural lands which is less compared to the fruits garden in this area.
If I am not wrong, in my observation, most of the fruits garden are the apples, apricots, oranges, grapes and many others that I don't know exactly. Among the most common crops I found the maize and the wheat as the mostly common and some areas I found many other vegetables crops and many winter crops that grows well in this region of the world. But it is a miracle that such huge city with no rivers is so green and it is a challenging thing to grow trees here and I found they have an excellent irrigation system for their green forest lands and the authority provide huge labor to these area which I can not imagine for the pure water supply in Dhaka City for the common people but Beijing is doing it for their trees!
Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I am surprised that there are no rivers in the agricultural area of Huairou city!
I guess they use underground water channels to supply agricultural water to the agricultural area of the Huairou city!
Bangladesh has many rivers and wetlands, so it seems like it will be easy to obtain water for agricultural purposes.
Yeah, Bangladesh has so many rivers for that.
