I have a hard time flipping old cards for newer as the CP values have drop for modern. Foundations cards have the least. Although I can also understand your goal is having more cards and not caring their actual value as much.

I hear you --- movement is slow at the moment.
There is lots to do with the older sets. Combine that with the fact of their low print rate theory should have them being more sought after. Seems as ranked play is the deciding factor for how the bulk of the community decide on card possession. Legacy ranked play --- or ranked play for each set (combine Alpha - Beta) might light a fire under the old guard. I think we are headed there at some point anyways. Eventually there will 10 - 15 + sets ---- doesn't seem viable to their worth to have that many combined under one ranked play system without having another more set focused arena for them to partake in.
