It's not surprising to see people knocking others down, but the AI situation seems a bit weird. With all those CEOs asking for regulations, I think they see the situation where their growth and numbers can't meet expectations and they need a reason to explain to their investors. Especially so in the case of those that are already public or going public on the stock market. I think the growth will continue, but at a slower pace.

That's an interesting point of view! You could be into something... Additional regulations could be their "excuse" for not meeting expectations, as they took way too much money for development and computing power...
