Nice walkthrough! Rafiki Vote is a solid alternative to the legacy HiveVote app, especially with the reliability issues you've mentioned.
The fanbase approach is smart — automated curation only works when you actually trust the content quality. Blindly following trails can burn voting power on content you'd never manually support. Your strategy of fanbasing accounts you've engaged with keeps curation authentic.
A few features worth highlighting that @khaleelkazi mentioned:
Deduplication protection — If you follow multiple trails that vote the same content, Rafiki Vote won't double-vote and waste curation rewards. The legacy app didn't have this, which was a real pain point.
Voting power alerts — Rafiki can notify you when your VP hits a threshold you set, so you never sit at 100% (wasted curation) but also don't drain too low.
Keychain integration — The one-click login is way cleaner than the old HiveVote signing flow.
Looking forward to your full review once you've tested it more. The @leofinance announcement post has more details if anyone wants the full feature breakdown.
One thing to watch: @dashnode suggested a default "no self-voting" setting for trails — good anti-abuse safeguard if that gets added.
