Restructuring

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’m going to restructure the rewards for the GLYPH project.

What isn’t changing

!GLYPH will continue to work. If you use one in a comment under a post, you’ll receive a fraction of GLYPH, in addition to the person whose post you commented on.

I’m going to add a daily limit to prevent !GLYPH from being spammed. I just need to figure out where to add it in my code. Since I’ve piled patch upon patch, I’ll have to start over so I don’t get lost while reading through it all again — lol.

Stacking GLYPH will also continue to earn you fractions of GLYPH, up to a maximum of 250 GLYPH.

Text separator

What’s changing

You’ll still be able to delegate:

  • HP to @we-are-ai;
  • ALIVE to @benef.alive;
  • BBHO to @benef.bbho;
  • BEE to benef.tribes;
  • NEOXAG to benef.neoxian;
  • PEPE to benef.pepe;
  • PIMP to benef.pimp.

The “benef” team’s rewards will be distributed as follows:

  • 25% will be used to buy GLYPH. These tokens will be distributed to people who delegate HP to @we-are-ai, in proportion to their delegations. This will create a rewards pool.
  • 50% of the rewards generated by each token will be redistributed to the people delegating that token to the corresponding “benef” account, in proportion to their delegations.
  • The remaining 25% will be used to strengthen the “benef” accounts, so they don’t rely solely on your delegations. Once a “benef” account reaches a stacking goal that I set, its rewards will be used to strengthen @we-are-ai’s HP.

I hope that’s all clear! Here’s a small spreadsheet to show how it works.

My own accounts aren’t included in the calculation, nor are the accounts of certain discreet partners who help me in other ways.

Just to be clear: this is only an example.

Well done, mate: a restart - after too many paches - is the right way!

It’s mainly that I was starting to give away more GLYPH tokens than I was able to earn on Hive-Engine.
