🧠 A small geeky calculation

I asked myself a very simple question: would it be possible to curate without ever dropping below 99% voting mana?

The answer is yes, of course.

In theory, it would be enough to cast 10 votes at 2.5% every 30 minutes. This would result in a total consumption of 1% voting mana per hour. Since voting mana regenerates at a rate of 1% per hour, this setup would maintain a nearly perfect balance, without significantly draining the reserve.

At this pace, you would still reach around 480 votes per day, which is far from negligible. Of course, this assumes there is enough quality content to vote on every day, which isn’t always guaranteed… but it still seems achievable.

The only downside is that such a system might miss some good voting opportunities, especially outside the predefined time slots. But nothing too serious at this stage.

For now, I’m mainly experimenting with different settings. In any case, I don’t yet have a server running 24/7, so this is still very much in the testing phase.

Would you be willing to join me and test such a bot with me?

It will be set up as soon as I receive my paycheck, so I can buy a small $50 PC that I’ve already spotted and reserved from a seller — he’s just waiting for the payment. After that, it will simply take some time to install and configure everything.

The goal won’t be to make high-value votes, but rather to provide consistent support to quality content on the blockchain. The idea is to let Hive Power grow naturally, while gradually adjusting stricter and more demanding voting conditions as it increases.

If you’ve been reblogged, it means the bot has voted for you — congratulations, you met its current criteria.

Good day all .
