The ideas are taking form
We had some time to think things through regarding the future development of the CTPSB project and after the feed-back that we received from you, there are certain things that seem already quite clear.
Rebranding of CTPSB
The community token backed by hive power will need a rebrand since a lot of people still associate it with the dead CTP community. A new token will therefore be created.
Integration into Liotes
The project will be integrated into the Liotes ecosystem. This actually only means that it will be managed by the Liotes team and not only by myself. The fact that the keys are not just kept by one single person should add a layer of security to the project.
Things that are not totally clear yet
It's highly probable that people who own CTPSB token now will get an airdrop of a new token which name needs still to be confirmed. But the CTPSB token will continue to exist in another form. This means that instead of only one token, you will own two! Things need to be worked on a bit more in order to give more details.
There will probably be also a liquidity pool for the new token and a later stage a reward pool linked to it.
How to finance the changes
To finance the token creation, the liquidity pool and the reward pool, we need some funds that we will try to take from the liquid post rewards and from the burning mechanisme of CTPSB. This means that the APR of the CTPSB token in the meantime will slightly be lower than in the past. Instead of 16% APR, during this time the APR will probably be around 12-13%.

Once the airdrop is done, can we delist/stop the trading of CTPSB token on hive-engine?
Another option will be to ask the ctpsb token holders to send the token to null once the airdrop is completed.
As most of the holders are not active, CTSPB tokens will still linger around. I think we should not worry about them.
I still have my bros token, which was replaced by bro. Just an example :-)

It's unfortunately not possible to delist a token so CTPSB will still be around even after a rebranding but as you said there are quite a lot of dead tokens on hive-engine :-)
This is great news and great opportunity for long-time investors. Excited about these changes.

I'm not sure if you've mentioned delegators, unless I missed it. Will @ctpsb still be the tokenized account for the new token, or will we need to renew our delegations with a new account?

Sorry for the late answer. After thinking things through for quite a long time, we decided that we keep the project going the way it is for the moment. The changes wouldn't really improve things for the token holders or myself. Therefore, we believe the status quo is the best solution for the time being.
Oh okay... and there are still rewards for delegators?

It's good to see that there are changes happening. What will happen to the CTPSB tokens after the rebrand? After all, the focus will probably on the new token.
The token will still be around. The question at the moment is if we want to try to give it some value or not.

What about a stablecoin that can be obtained by burning the token. Which rewards apy. Something like offering 120% per year rewards for every 100% burn. Helping staking them too for longer. Compounding rewards offered staked too. I would say this would be good.
