In the past week, I've been researching AI avatar generation. Basically, it works as follows:
I have tested several platforms with the idea in mind to see where I get the most natural results and the most authentic feeling from the avatar. In the video, I show you the end result that were generated through these different platforms.

You might ask yourself what the reason would be to generate AI avatars in the first place. They can be used for many reasons. You can create an AI avatar of yourself and then use this same avatar and make him say different things. That can be useful for the creation of videos, shorts, online courses, instruction videos. For people who don't want to be in front of a camera, this opens up the possibility to create videos with talking heads using an artificially made avatar and using a voice of your choice. There are no limits to it and many brands and businesses are already using such avatars to promote their brand or instruct their customers.

AI avatars offer so much flexibility and creativity, especially for those who prefer not to be on camera.
They’re a fantastic tool for content creation, marketing, and even education.
Great video.

I totally agree, thanks to such avatars everybody can start to create videos without showing their own face.
It's interesting to see the result of AI combined with other tools to make a better realistic result. It makes me wonder when there will be a tool that does all of that in one go in the future because it sounds like a pain.
There are already some tools that do that but for the moment they are pretty expensive. It's just a matter of time before prices come down and it becomes affordable to everybody.
Avatars are really useful for people (like me) who don't feel comfortable showing their faces in front of strangers during certain meetings. 🤣
Exactly, I even saw a platform where you can create an avatar that takes your place during zoom meetings and you can even program him to take part in the discussion lol
To me it seems that recent models of AI, mostly on the voice and video side, are trying to imitate humans so much that they end up overdoing it. Like the gesture one of your avatars did passing her hair around the ear (both ways nonetheless).
That's quite accurate. AI often doesn't really understand what is natural and what not and it can simply run a movement the wrong way round lol
