Creating a quality video with AI – Animating an image

$1

This series takes you step by step through the creation process of a video made with AI. In this post here, we will create the image material of the first scene, that we described as follows:

In the first scene, we will have a view of the planet Liotes from space.
For the viewer this will set the place where the video is recorded. It will be a short scene with some background music.

For this first scene, we take an existing image of the planet Liotes. An image that fits the identity and framework of our project. It is a simple image and we want to animate it with AI.

The task that I present in the video below is how we transform this image and make it an animated short video:

The initial image:

The result - The animated image (here as a gif):

We now have the image material for our first scene. We will add sound and effects at a later stage while editing. In the next post, we will work on the second scene where we will meet Tanja Lemaire. We will create this personage and make her talk.

I think the first (and only prompt) was spot on! The planet is rotating on its axis and there's a zoom in/zoom out effect of the planet too :)

I have to say that it seldom works with the first prompt. I was lucky here :-)

That's quite easy to follow. And not bad! The still image is now a short clip. It'll make for a pretty nice replacement (when converted into a GIF) for future posts!

The gif is a bit big in size but I think it would catch the sight as post title :-)
