Happy Cinco de Mayo! That is a day we never really hear about in the UK. What a shame about Selena, I remember that, so sad and she had such a bright future ahead of her.

It really was a shame, I remember that day well... She didn't even get to see how successful her English crossover album became. Richie Valens was way before our time, but what a future he could have had if he hadn't gone down with Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper!
Yes sad too about Richie Valens and of course Buddy Holly. 17 is so young. Another shame. Life is full of them
