RE: The Timeless Dress

This is very well done, and very 'real'. As I read I thought of my own childhood and all the hand-me-downs I wore. The clothes were not just handed down from my older sister. She had received them from cousins and family friends. These clothes were hand-me-downs many times removed.

Just like your mother, my mother used to take a needle and thread and tailor the clothes to fit us.

I'm glad you found the perfect emerald green dress. I would have loved to have seen a picture of that dress, and you in it :).
