RE: The Risk and Reward of Trusting Others.

Though I go by trusting people unless evidence is available in my hands that trust cannot be given. Perhaps a biut naive, but it feels mostly good, at least, it is a positive way to deal with all this. To entrust someone who we don't know well, or not at all, but recommended by those we trust, is another thing. I allude to the fact that you gave the trust. Must have been quite stressful. Glad this worked out as you wanted!
