RE: The Ones Who Find Another Way.

Cities can be a maze sometimes, and there's nothing worse than getting stuck or lost in traffic during a hot day. I like how you set up the environment that becomes the central challenge for the protagonist whose perseverance pays off in the end.

Ahead of him, behind him, beside him vehicles everywhere, engines running, tempers rising, horns talking to each other in a language that had no solution.

In the end, the city doesn't change, but the protagonist gains a new view of it, not as a place of limitations but one of opportunities.

He shook it then walked out into the evening air, and stood on the pavement of that Lagos street for a moment, the city was loud around him, Generators, hawkers, a bus conductor screaming a destination.

He had come the wrong way and arrived exactly where he needed to be.

It's an excellent tale of urban life.
