I don't even know what to say after reading this, so a girl was murdered in cold blood because she chose to be happy with the man she loves over everything else. The craziest part of it is the fact that this was done to her by the very same people she calls family and the worse part is she might never get justice for this.. this is just sad, 😭

This is a speech I delivered in Urdu on stage in front of a large audience at a "maqtab". You might notice a sense of passion and fervor in my delivery.
This addresses a real and significant issue faced by Pakistanis. I gave this speech at a social issues event following a real-life incident. This morning, I came across the paper on which I had written it. As I read through it, tears welled up in my eyes. It was around the time of the Dawn prayer, and the house was completely quiet.
