Everything seems so uncertain. If it weren't for this war in Iran I think the markets would be doing much better. Everything is tied to the price of oil. I've stopped trying to predict as well and just have resigned to the fact that things will be trending down for a while. With the insanely high cost of living here in the Twin Cities our weekly grocery trips have topped $300 for the first time ever. It's hard to believe we pay the equivalent of what our monthly mortgage payment used to be for food. I really wish we could plant a garden where we are. That would help out a lot. We are allowed container gardens so I might, at least, grow some tomatoes and herbs this year.
My wife was just saying today how sick to her stomach the price of groceries make her. I can't imagine a family of four or five trying to get by.
