We have plenty of wide open spaces where I live. They seem to be filling in though, thankfully not too fast here. Other places though... I'll visit Dollar Stores when I have to, but honestly, I'd almost rather go to Walmart, and that speaks volumes right there if you know Walmart!

Yeah, I have never been a fan of Walmart, but I think I would make that same choice if it was between the two of them. Walmart tends to have a much greater selection, and my assumption would be they go through inventory faster, so their food may be fresher.
