I truly don't think it's more challenging to start at Hive than to start on YT or X... When you know 0 people, it's hard on ANY platform... but... the answer lies in this...

IMO it all comes down to why are they here and why do they want to be here?

If you are here to enjoy it as a social network, you will not have any issues at all... or as you said, like a hobby to spread the word about what you are doing... But, we both know when it gets "overcomplicated"... When you want to get big upvotes, when you "demand" more attention to your posts, when you want to get hundreds of bucks in the first week, etc.

I do agree about wording and those specific things... there should be a better U/X experience and easier understanding... But, IMO, those are just small tweaks that can be solved... Btw. I like what you did on your event, changing the wording about "earning on HIVE"... 😉
