Hi everyone!
It’s been a long time since my last post here!
I went back to check when I last published something, and it turns out it was back in March 2025. More than a year and a half without a single post! 😄
I never actually stopped playing Splinterlands!
Even though I've been quiet here, I've continued playing, mainly taking part in Guild Brawls. So, while I may have disappeared from the social side of the community, I've still been around on the battlefield.
Life has a way of getting busy, and at some point, writing posts became something I kept postponing. I would think about sharing something interesting or posting another card analysis, but then another day would pass, followed by another week, and eventually months.
And here we are!

One thing I particularly enjoyed doing in the past was writing card analyses.
I liked looking beyond the stats and abilities printed on a card and thinking about its actual usefulness in battle. What made it interesting? Which abilities really mattered? At what level did it become more effective? And in which situations would I choose it over another card? Moreover, I tried to look at the economics of it.
A card's value is rarely just about its stats. The ruleset, mana limit, team composition, and opponent's strategy can all make a difference. Sometimes a card that looks great on paper isn't the best choice in practice, while another one can become surprisingly useful in the right circumstances.
That's what made these analyses interesting to me: trying to understand not just what a card could do, but when and why it was worth using.
The last card I analysed: Phantasm

Although I haven't been publishing posts, Guild Brawls have remained one of the ways I've continued enjoying Splinterlands.
Brawls offer a different experience from simply playing regular battles. There's the guild aspect, the available formats and restrictions, and the challenge of putting together a team that works within the rules you're given (and matched at similar levels).
I haven't been keeping up with every discussion or development in the wider Splinterlands community, so I won't pretend to have followed everything during my absence. I've simply continued playing the part of the game that I enjoy, without being very active on the social side.
Perhaps that's something I should change.
I'm not going to promise a weekly post or a big return to regular blogging. Experience has taught me that it's better not to make promises that are difficult to keep!
Still, I would like to start sharing some of my experiences again.
Card analyses are an obvious possibility. I enjoyed writing them before, and it would be interesting to revisit that type of content. I could also write about Guild Brawls, discuss team choices, share interesting matches, or look at how particular cards perform under different restrictions.
It doesn't always have to be a detailed analysis. Sometimes a short post about an interesting battle or a card combination that worked particularly well can be enough to start a conversation.
And perhaps I could even go back to some of my older articles and see whether I would reach the same conclusions today.
That could be an interesting exercise in itself!
Since I've been away from posting for so long, I'd really appreciate some suggestions from you.
What kind of Splinterlands content do you enjoy reading these days?
Are card analyses still useful? Would you be interested in posts about Guild Brawls, team composition, card choices, and strategies? Or are there other topics you think would be more interesting?
If you remember any of my older card analyses (or read through them in my post history), I'd be especially interested in hearing whether you think that kind of content is worth bringing back.
For now, I'm happy simply to be writing here again. I may have been quiet, but I've continued playing Splinterlands, and Guild Brawls have kept me involved.
Let's see if I can become a little more active on the community side as well!
Thanks for reading, and looking forward for your feedback!
