Hello Splinters, I'm Lagnarok, and welcome to my Weekly Battle Mage Secret. Magic-type monsters are not in a favorable situation because The Pretoria Continent is very hot because of climate change problems; with this temperature not easy for magic-type monsters to maintain their stamina, so Fire Faction decided to hold internal matches to improve their overall skill.
Ash mirages are often mistaken for inanimate deadwood. In reality, they are fiery spirits that live in the husks of long-dead trees, their charred wood glowing with embers of ash as they lumber across the hot plains and deserts of the Burning Lands. If threatened, they defend themselves by flinging fireballs and flaming branches at their enemies. When the Chaos Legion encroached upon the desolate lands of the ash mirages, they harassed the creature, taking sharp axes to their sturdy wood shell. The ash mirages avoided the invaders for a time, but the Riftwatchers arrived and convinced them to fight back. Thereafter, the ash mirages would sneak within range of their foes’ camps and attack them with devastating infernos. Read More.
The battle happened in a Wild Gold league in a Ranked match, with the battle details as "Counterspell" and "Equalizer." With 99 mana caps, this is very easy to set up a lineup since you were able to put high mana monsters.

Name | Lv | Ability |
---|---|---|
Yodin Zaku | Lv 3 | +1 Health, +1 Range, Blast |
Ferox Defender | Lv 6 | Protect, Repair |
Ash Mirage | Lv 6 | Headwinds, Reflection Shield |
Supply Runner | Lv 8 | Swiftness |
Fire Caller | Lv 6 | Martyr, Fury |
Flamesmith | Lv 7 | Shatter, Repair |
Countess Sinash | Lv 2 | Opportunity, Camouflage, Swiftness |
Based on my enemy's latest fight, I predict my opponent will mostly be using Yodin Zaku since, like that, I decided to use monsters with protect ability and put double repair monsters to maintain every armor in my lineup. The most critical key is the Ash Mirage placement. I decided to put it on the second line since Reflection Shield will help the team to reduce the blast effect and headwind's ability to nerf my opponent's ranged-type monster.
As an Equalizer ruleset, I decided to use monsters with considerable high damage and great ability since it would bring me more advantages.
My strategy works perfectly since Ash Mirage performs very well, be it protecting a teammate or nerfing the opponent. While double Repair too able to buy my team some precious time to clean up the battlefield.
Note: I tried to change my writing style from a long and tedious version to a shorter and more descriptive one. I hope. You can enjoy it.
