Another Case of Money Laundering Associated with Cryptocurrency
After 18 months of investigation, the Australian authorities discovered a money laundering scheme using a “legitimate” traditional corporation. It was reported that a total of $123 million was involved in this fraudulent transaction. The money was eventually converted into crypto to escape the hands of the law.
I am not sure how reliable this report is, or is this one of the schemes of the Australian government to demonize the crypto space?
