I wasn't bored at all with your book talk, as a a matter of fact, I enjoyed them as I now have more books to add and move up the ladder in my library.
The self help book I'm currently reading is 'The Power of Your Subconscious Mind' by Joseph Murphy and I must say, that book can't be rated enough. It intricately explains the powers and abilities of our subconscious and how to utilize them. I can't deny that I have seen changes applying some of his methods outlined in that book.
I'd also recommend the 48 laws of Power by Robert Greene. It's one of the most effective tools for gaining power and self confidence as a human being.
See that 48 Laws of Power? I just completed a series that was themed around it. It's a powerful book alright but can be abused by a weak mind. That book requires a strong mental foundation before it can be effectively put to use. I read some where that it was the very secrets of war lords from old, and also the old and richest families. Just like "Art of War". Man, I should reread that book again especially after what I just watched.
I am impressed when you started with the book 48 laws of power and ended with art of war. I think the former has gained a lot more fame. Probably, due to the original language the books was written in.

I totally agree with you. Like every power tool, that book can also be abused in the wrong hands. I haven't read "Art of War" but I'm definitely going to check it out.
