I liked this story very much, @glorydee. Your description of your father is perfect. Vivid. He comes to life. I did have one comment (in my head) as you describe how much more time it takes women to dress. That doesn't mean they should be late... it means they should start earlier :)) That's what my Mom would say, anyway.
