A trusted quality banner of products could indeed be a valuable marketing tool. As you mentioned, Aliexpress is great for finding virtually anything. Unfortunately a lot of what is sold is of questionable quality and when I am going through I'm always wondering "is this really what is advertised"? I can guarantee that my 12,000W power inverter is nothing of the sort (It was close to 600W).
Of course if I was starting small or pitching to an investor? Rather than try to replace AliExpress (which would be brutal) make a sub site like "Ali-Reviewed" with YouTube video's sifting the gold from the dregs. As an example: I purchased an electric shaver for roughly $1.50HBD .. Initial thought was "just how crappy is this going to be?". Honestly? I used it for 3 months on vacation and it was not the best shaver but it was undeniably a useful shaver, tiny in size, lasted forever on a battery and almost cheaper than disposable. Absolutely something I'd want to keep on my trusted "Ali-Reviewed" store.
You absolutely have a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
