RE: Sam’s Hangout #128 - “FAMILY LOYALTY & PERSONAL PEACE"

I will always put my personal peace first, I understand the bond the family share and that we are one blood, but if being close will cost my peace of mind, I will give you a very long distance.

Family is really important, no doubt, and I love my family members, but I won't endure and tolerate constant disrespect, lies, manipulation, and many more negativity just to keep a family member close. Instead, I would love such a family member from a distance.

I have grown to understand that creating boundaries around people, doesn't mean you hate them, it simply means choosing and prioritizing your peace and mental health, sometimes distancing yourself from certain people is a way of even keeping the relationships healthier, I could still love a family member , and keep my space too. My well being really matter to me, I can still love and care for any family member threatening my peace and mental health from a distance.
