I think the real threat is not on a personal level (like identity theft,etc), but on a society level. AI will help government to better oppress people. Surveillance will be AI supported and any misbehaviour (like saying something against the regime) will be tracked and pursued. Together with digital currencies and mandatoriy phone apps people will be more and more enslaved. Once completed they can do whatever they want.
