Fall and Redemption of the Songwriter, Punk

Fredy, or better known by his nickname Punk, is a music writer. He writes and designs music from scratch. It's something he's good at and has skill. But many wonder where that nickname came from or why he's called it that. The name Punk came from his way of dressing and his somewhat rebellious nature—well, not a bit, just because he was rebellious. Before writing songs, he wrote poems and poetry. But he realized that wasn't his strong suit; he knew how to write good lyrics. So it didn't take long for him to use that knowledge where it was truly needed. With his friends, he formed a band, and while the others focused on singing or playing, he wrote them. Then the band leader reviewed and approved them. This worked well for a while.

At first, before writing a new song for the group, Fredy would ask for their opinions, then ask for suggestions and design the lyrics based on that. That way, everyone felt included in the work and that each project had a part in them. Things flowed well while this dynamic was present. But tensions escalated every time Punk realized he couldn't develop the lyrics his way because he always had to ask the group for feedback, or he had to remove something because the leader didn't like it.

He felt he couldn't do what he really wanted in each project and felt threatened because others viewed him with suspicion whenever he presented a new project. It was here that his rebellious personality began to become more visible. And it was where his nickname was born. With each new project, he wanted his version to be accepted, and he pressured others not to reject it. But everything changed when he did something that left everyone cold. He created lyrics in his own way, with his own style. The others reviewed it and agreed they didn't like it and that he needed to make several changes. Also, as on other occasions, they left him suggestions of things they would like to include.

But he simply ignored them and presented his version on rehearsal day without any of the additional adjustments his friends recommended. When they saw this, they were very upset with him because he had broken their trust. At that moment, an argument broke out between them all, with Punk blaming them for interfering with his creativity. And they retorted that they were called a group for a reason. But he was very stubborn and refused their advice. At that moment, he became very angry and asked to resign. And it became clear that he was leaving because he wanted to dominate everyone.

They were also upset, so at the time they didn't try to stop him, but they did tell him he was leaving the group of his own free will. After leaving the Punk group, he tried to find work in other bands, but it wasn't easy. Most of them already had a member doing the job he was looking for. But search is find, and he found a spot. It was a rock band, and they needed someone to write their songs. But subsequent events taught him a big lesson. As soon as he started working, his previous personality, the one for which he had left another group, emerged. He tried again to create his own versions of the lyrics, without consulting the group.

But these people were less patient than the previous ones, and as soon as he showed this way of being, they immediately fired him because they wouldn't accept working with someone who didn't listen to the rest. They weren't as kind as his friends who made him aware. Now, once again without a job, he found himself in a difficult situation. Before getting that position, he had to search a lot and knew there were no other options nearby. The frustration and rebellion he felt gradually turned into awareness. And he began to recognize that he had lost both jobs because of his own fault, because he wasn't understanding. And he knew that if he continued like this, it would happen again.

Meanwhile, his former band found out about his situation; they still hadn't found another songwriter. But beyond needing him, they were his friends, and they were willing to forgive him if he truly showed that he had changed. Punk had no idea they would call him to give him another chance. When he saw the call and answered it, he couldn't stop crying, because he knew they were crying more because they were his friends. He promised them he would change and that he would strive to always keep them in mind. And they welcomed him with open arms. Although he later changed his nickname, he stuck with it; he was no longer Freddy, now he was Punk.

Fredy o más conocido con su apodo de Punk es un escritor de música, las escribe y diseña desde 0. Es algo que se le da bien y tiene habilidad. Pero muchos se preguntan de dónde salió ese apodo o porque se lo dicen. El nombre de Punk salió de su forma de vestir y por su forma de ser un poco rebelde, bueno un poco no, por ser rebelde. Antes de escribir canciones hacia poemas y poesía. Pero se dio cuenta de que ese no era su punto fuerte, sabía escribir buenas letras de canciones. Así que no tardó mucho en explotar ese conocimiento en donde de verdad se necesitaba. Con sus amigos formó una banda y mientras los demás se concentraban en cantar, o tocar el las escribía. Luego el líder de la banda las revisaba y las aprobaba. Esto funcionó bien por un tiempo.

Al principio Fredy antes de escribir una nueva canción para el grupo les pedía su opinión, luego les preguntaba sugerencias y diseñaba la letra en base a eso. De esa manera todos se sentían incluidos en el trabajo y que cada proyecto tenia una parte de ellos. Las cosas fluían bien mientras esta dinámica estuvo presente. Pero las tensiones se fueron disparando cada vez que Punk vería que no podía desarrollar bien las letras de las canciones a su modo porque siempre tenia que estar pidiendo opinión del grupo, o tenia que quitar tal cosa porque al líder no le gustaba.

El sentía que no podía hacer lo que de verdad quería en cada proyecto y se sentía amenazado por que los demás lo veían con recelo cada vez que presentaba un nuevo proyecto. Fue aquí donde su personalidad rebelde comenzó a ser más visible. Y fue donde nació su apodo. Con cada nuevo trabajo el quería que su versión fuera aceptada, y presionaba a los demás para que no la rechazaran. Pero todo cambió cuando el hizo algo que dejó a todos frios. El creo una letra a su manera, y con su estilo propio. Los demás la revisaron y acordaron que no les gustaba y que tenia que hacer varios cambios. Además como en otras veces ellos le dejaron sugerencias de las cosas que a ellos le gustaría incluir.
Pero el simplemente los ignoró y presentó el día de los ensayos su versión sin ninguno de los ajustes añadidos que sus amigos le recomendaron. Cuando ellos vieron aquello se molestaron mucho con el. Porque había roto su confianza. En ese momento se desató una discusión entre todos ellos, Punk les echaba en cara que ellos estaban interfiriendo en su creatividad. Y ellos le refutaban que por algo se llamaban un grupo. Pero el fue muy terco y no aceptó sus consejos, muy molesto en ese momento pidió la renuncia. Y quedó claro que se iba porque quería imponerse por encima de todos.

Ellos también estaban molestos así que en ese momento no le intentaron detenerlo, pero si le dijeron que si iba del grupo por su propia decisión. Después de separarse del grupo Punk intentó buscar trabajo en otras bandas, pero no fue nada fácil. Porque ya la mayoría tenían un miembro que hacia ese trabajo que él buscaba. Pero buscando se encuentra y encontró una plaza. Era una banda de Rock y ellos necesitaban a alguien que escribiera sus canciones. Pero las acontecimientos siguientes le dieron una gran lección. En cuanto comenzó a trabajar su personalidad anterior y por la cual se había ido de otro grupo se hizo presente. Intentó nuevamente crear sus propias versiones de las letras, sin consultar nada con el grupo.

Pero estas personas eran menos pacientes que las anteriores, y en cuanto el mostró esta forma de ser ellos lo despidieron de inmediato, porque no aceptaban trabajar con alguien que no escuchara al resto. No fueron tan amables como sus amigos que le hicieron conciencia. Ahora nuevamente sin trabajo el se vio en una situación complicada. Pues antes de conseguir ese puesto tuvo que buscar mucho y sabia que no había más opciones cercanas. La frustración y rebeldía que tenia poco a poco se fue convirtiendo en conciencia. Y empezó a reconocer que había perdido ambos trabajos por su propia culpa, porque no fue comprensivo. Y sabía que si seguía así se volvería repetir.

Mientras tanto su anterior grupo se enteró de su situación, ellos aún no habían conseguido a otro escritor de canciones. Pero fuera de que lo necesitaran eran sus amigos y estaban dispuestos a perdonarlo si el demostraba de verdad que había cambiado. Punk no se imaginaba que ellos lo iban a llamar para darle una nueva oportunidad. Cuando vió la llamada y la cogió no podía para de llorar, porque sabía que ellos lo hacían más porque eran sus amigos. Les prometió que iba a cambiar y que se esforzaría por siempre tenerlos en cuenta. Y ellos lo recibieron con los brazos abiertos. Aunque luego cambió su apodo se quedó con el, ya no era Fredy, ahora era Punk.
