I love that people are starting to take control of their food needs. When you grow or prepare food for your family and/or sell to your community, quality is directly connected to your health and reputation. Its good to have these connections in the community and to support those people, since its hard to trust a lot of what is in the large supermarkets. Also find the social aspect of meeting your neighbors and supporting their businesses grows a stronger, happier community. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the great insight! I really wish we could move back to smaller communities where different members specialize in different things for the benefit of the group.

I think communities can return to this, it just takes time. I live in Vietnam now, and many people have their own special skill or product to add for the community benefit.
