.... and in many countries they are open on Sunday - you have no valid argument. Some people have only the weekend to shop in peace, rather than rushed after work and just before market closing time, when the line-ups at the cash registers are long.

With all due respect, if a person doesn't have time to shop, I don't see the point of working.
