Social media has created a very false impression that life is so perfect, and I agree with you, people only show you what they want you to see. And also trend, people follow trend because it gives them money. Even if the person is struggling in reality, he tries to join trend to get the admiration sometimes the money.

During the saga of Regina Daniels failed marriage, she at first made us believe that her husband was a king. People wished for her life, even during their anniversary the husband bought a diamond ring, and said the ring was a symbol of their beautiful love and renewal of their love. Just a month after their anniversary, the saga started. Truly every person, family have their respective problem and yes it won't be nice to wash one's dirty linen in public. Social media and reality are different, because a 10mins video won't show you all that is ongoing in a person's life.
