Talking about parents-to-child situations, I surely agree with you. There are numerous cases of parents imposing their choice of career on their children without considering their preferences and worst still, capabilities.

I understand it's quite natural for a parent to be concerned about their children's future and the kind of life they would love them to live but in cases where their desired career doesn't align with that of the child, they ought to be able to let them take the first seat.
Otherwise, it doesn't always end well.

I mean, when the list of emotions and qualities - such as interest, passion, curiosity which encourages someone to keep committing to whatever they do - are absent, how eggxactly would the story end? 🥲
