To not beat around the bush, first off, I think people should consider job security, not as if it should be at the expense of what they actually love. Nah, because spending years doing something you don't love or have passion for can be draining too. I think I can call my myself an ex Corper member already, just few weeks to go and I'm done. One of the things I've learned via some of the professional courses I took was that, you can find a balance. In the sense that, if you find a secure job that you dislike, take it up, find some part of it that you enjoy, and build a skill or something around it. Also, since the job is secure, you can still keep your passion alive outside of it. And about fulfillment, I can't guarantee that, but it may come depending on how you handle it. Since you can pursue your passion outside work or can find something or a particular field you enjoy and build something around it.

For parents, I would say they should allow and support their children pursue what they really love. Even if it does not look secure, they should understand that so far it is what the child has interest in, then he/she would definitely come out different. I mean, not every successful person we see today tread a safe path, some followed the path others criticized and are doing very well today. Also, not as if parents should just support them blindly, nah, they should support, advice and encourage while also making sure to make the child understand the risks involved. The child on his/her part too should know the possible risks, how to navigate through and as well learn skills that would make him/her standout in that career path he/she has chosen.

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone

Hmm, if one start hunting for a job. Job security might some time be the last thought. Though it is dependent on the situation of the applicant.
For example, after graduation, there is this deperate move to land a job ASAP, most people at that point do not even remember job security.
What they forward to is getting the job then working around it to fill and tick other boxes. Mostly because there are so many people searching for the scarce jobs at once.
Mind you, job security is about the ability to stay for a long term on the job in a company without the company facing financial issues like liquidity or paying staff salaries or meeting up with other financial obligations.
Having said that, what normally plays out in real life is get a job first, build on the job and then balance out if it doesn't suit the person because it is easy to navigate once you are in a job than rejecting opportunities while still searching. Remember financial needs does not waitooo. They are always there and man must wack.
