Honestly ehh, your story about the woman living close to your house just reminded me of Osinachi, the gospel singer who was severely maltreated by her husband before she eventually lost her life. The pain of her loss shook a lot of people to the bone marrow but I very much doubt that justice was sought for her.

It's quite painful how these things happen but in most cases, the people who could have salvaged the situation would sit still and do nothing.
I remember watching a movie as such and when the women reached out to her mother to help speak to her husband, the only words the mum offered was that no marriage is perfect 😞.

The government really should put laws in place to atleast reduce the rate these acts occur, if not eradicate it.
And males? The discipline should be instilled at the earliest stages of their lives. A good number of them tend to wear the conviction about men being superior to women like a second skin 😳😑.
