Well said @silversaver888, animals never act out of malice because they simply do not have that awareness. An animal always acts completely out of instinct. That it went so wrong is entirely due to human failure, and I find it truly horrible that the dogs were killed for that. In my opinion, that shows that we humans still have a lot to learn.
