There are some people that reply in their own language. There are translation tools enough. And some add a comment in both their native language as a translated version.
Our topcomment curators translate and curate comments from other languages as well.

The thing is, we cannot tell if someone used AI to translate their own comment or had it generate the comment for them.

To be transparent: I often write my ideas in Italian and I use AI to translate and polish them in English. Sometimes it also helps me read long posts and suggest wording. I understand that from the outside you cannot tell the difference.

So I'll do this: when a comment is important I'll write it in Italian with an English translation below, as some users do. Would that be fine for you? ๐Ÿ˜Š
