RE: Eight Years in Remission

No worries! Like I said, it's not something I talk about a lot. I mean I want people to be educated about it, and I might post about how I am in remission once a year, but it doesn't really define me. I got so lucky and now I am just down a pretty non vital organ, so it's not too bad. Only having one makes sitting in tight airline seats much more comfortable! :) I'm glad your diagnosis ended up being nothing. I agree though, the time between getting the ultrasound and blood tests and getting the results was horrible. Luckily once they had those the doctor was ready to do the surgery the next day.
